Centro de las Artes Vilcabamba
The Centro de las Artes Vilcabamba is a cornerstone project for Fundación Vamos A Devolver, envisioned as a vibrant hub for creativity, learning, and cultural expression for the entire community.
Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where residents of all ages, especially children and adolescents, can explore their artistic talents, connect with their cultural heritage, and develop new skills. This center will serve as a beacon of innovation and community, bringing people together through the power of the arts.
Project Goals
- To provide accessible, high-quality arts education and workshops in music, dance, visual arts, and theater.
- To establish a dedicated space for community performances, exhibitions, and cultural gatherings.
- To foster a sense of pride and identity by celebrating local traditions and artistic expressions.
- To offer a safe and constructive after-school environment for local youth.
Current Status
The project is currently in the active development phase. We have secured a potential location and are working with local architects and community leaders to finalize the design. Our focus for the next quarter is on fundraising and acquiring the necessary materials to begin renovations.
